Developing Immigrant/Non-Immigrant Partnerships
A Diaspora Network Cohort for immigrant and non-immigrant leaders and churches
Developing Immigrant/Non-Immigrant Partnerships (Pilot) Cohort Description This facilitated cohort seeks to bring immigrant and non-immigrant leaders and churches together in a way that fosters mutuality and leads to joint mission together both locally and perhaps globally as well. It is framed around the importance of recognizing the gifts the immigrant church has to contribute to the broader North American church, but also that the North American (non-immigrant) church also has key gifts to contribute to the thriving of immigrant churches. Some of the key values to be lived out in this cohort are: relationship building, eating together, the power of prayer. The framework we start from is the Mutuality Framework developed for this year’s Diaspora conference.Â
